Folk Hearts and they're pink!

Hi everyone!
Where has the year gone?! Nearly 12 months ago I made my first canvas for Tonic so it was only fitting that I make another home décor piece. I'm a blue crafter and always choose cool colours but this time I've gone for pink! PINK!

This is an 8x8 wall hanging made out of cardboard. I really had to think about the colourway here and have a dig around my craft stash. I ended up using a CWC USB for the patterned papers and Tonic Craft Perfect Paper and Nuvo Glitter.

Instead of lots of painted elements, it's more just assembling your papers and die cuts in pleasing composition.

Materials Used:
Craft Perfect Bright White
Craft Perfect Jet Black
Craft Perfect Blossom Pink
Craft Perfect Glitter Card Silver Screen
Tonic Studios Folk Hearts
Essentials - Wings & Things - Monarch & Princess Wings -1933E
Moroccan Orchard Corner Die
White Gloss Nuvo Drops
Sophisticate CWC USB
Ribbon
Twine
Gems
Nuvo Glitter - Diamond
Nuvo Glitter - Candy Pink
Nuvo Drops - Gloss - Simply White
Nuvo Embellishment Mousse - Pink Flame

This was such an easy home décor piece to make and I hope that you like it.
Here are some words cut out from one of the USB pages and mounted onto black card.
I fussy cut an image off the USB, die cut the butterfly and began to layer my piece together. I covered the wings and some of the hearts in Mod Podge and then covered with glitter.
Here are a few more words and a mini heart from the magazine dies.
Cutting out one of the smaller hearts, you can really see the embellishment Mousse used around all the edges. Inks aren't always necessary.

Make sure you cut out your corner dies and also cover lightly with your embellishment mousse. Then finish off by adding a flower, some twine, ribbon and Nuvo Drops.
I'm not sure I've ever made a pink project before but it came out ok. What do you think?

Thanks for having a look and hope to see you again soon.
Lots of love and hugs
Jennifer
